I know people make fun of the senran kagura games because they are definitely fanservice-y anime games, but they are actually really competent and deep action musou games with full on combos and character depth for the like 30 some characters they have in those games. Tamsoft has been cooking for a long time and they have had to disguise their really fun action games behind senran kagura for so long that I'm super excited to see what they do with Bleach

Tbh i don't really think those are cutcenes. For me it's more like static dialogues in jumpforce, only thing is they're voiced. Like yeah, there are ocasionally some animation like in Gin-bye-bye part, but everything other is either static dialogue or cinematic from character's moveset (like Uryu or Mayuri)

Renji also has a new outfit like kisuke. Its subtle but it looks like it has tiger print markings on the sleeves. That entire pack appears to have original costumes though they aren't drastically different. retextures basically. Good catch with the yoruichi normal though i didn't catch that at all. Tamsoft only worked on the controversial melty blood steam port not the original game. Their only fighting game they made is battle arena toshinden. A very unique and weird 3d fighter. Supposed to be the tekken killer. Given most people have never heard about it we can all see how that went. The similarity between that game and this one is that that game was like a 2D fighter in 3d. This game is mostly an arena fighter but it does have elements of 2d fighter neutral such as characters with free fireballs that the opponent has to close in on, unless they have ranged tools themselves of course.

It's essentially a Bleach: Heat the Soul series game but on Ps5 with about the same depth and graphics actual shame of what we could have gotten if this game was handed to a creative studio. Oh well i guess im still alive for another 20 years to see maybe a decent Bleach Game or not.....

Really agree with your two points. This game was hopefully given enough time in the oven for it be really polished, that's why I wasnt mad when the release date was revealed to be March. Give the Tamsoft guys a couple more months to smooth out the creases (Like the framerate...). The Netcode will probably be the thing I'm most confident wont be great. Its one of those things Bandai just doesnt care about for whatever reason. But yeah, this game has a lot of cool stuff not being marketed, i.e. Secret story mode, alt costumes in the game, jiggle physics, ect.
