How Do You Prefer Your Linux Software - New or Stable?

Right now OpenSuse Leap, but I'm not using Linux as a primary desktop OS most of the time. For that role I use Manjaro KDE. I guess I could live with Mint Cinnamon, but I don't like Gnome and new GTK apps and their design that much. For servers and WSL, I guess Debian, OpenSuse Leap, Ubuntu LTS are all good. I'm not doing distro hopping, minor distros are not worth using, if I'm disappointed I hop, if I'm happy I stay.

I know what you mean about Gnome and GTK apps. I’m missing KDE badly right now on this laptop. I used Manjaro for quite a while and thoroughly enjoyed it.
