This is an introductory video lesson for people who wish to learn or understand Traditional or Classical Mongolian script
Hello everyone!
This idea has been on my mind for quite some time. I'm glad that I was finally able to bring it to reality. Of course, it's quite messy and there is so much room for improvement :O
In any case, I hope with this video, you would be able to understand the main structure of the Mongolian traditional script.
Quite a few people were interested in it, so I decided to make a video for it just to show the main principles behind it
Also, for these two words, it is completely possible to write with the corresponding letters using "galig". It's a type of this script that is specifically meant for foreign words, but I didn't use it to keep it more "Mongolian"
There were some technical faults in the video, I seem to have overlooked them. It took a lot of toll on my laptop when editing this video with over 10 layers of videos, images, and texts xD. Playback was very laggy and I missed some of the little errors, especially the "M" letters gone blurred because I downsized it :O
Gears I used:
XP-Pen Artist 12 Graphical Drawing Tablet - amzn.to/36p9LRA
Sony a6000 Mirrorless Camera - amzn.to/36p9LRA

Thank you again for your attention and love!

Ancestors of Turkic people used to live in modern day of Mongolia up until 1700 years ago. Drama happened and they had to move to the west of Altai mountains Uyghur script was adopted by the Mongol empire after people carefully checked many other writing systems. This system seemed the most efficient and also it was adapter into our language. Before, there were many other ways to write in different regions, but this one got standardized among everyone

@@Hachapuri69 That sounds reasonable. Nations in the Middle East and East Asia were known to send students to neighboring nations to study their culture. There is a common origin for alphabets all over the world. I spent time in Iraq and Afghanistan. There I learned how to read in their alphabets. I can read Persian, Arabic, Pashtun, which all have the same origin with small differences between, so it is not surprising that Uyghur use the same as long as it suits their language. Obviously in my response to リナルヂィI can also read Japanese/katakana. Also I can read Korean. Not trying to make myself seem as though I am smart (which I am NOT), but if you understand origins, it is easy to learn a new alphabet.
