Whats funny , Before Snell signed with the Giants last year. He was looking for a long term deal and no one wanted to offer him the contract. Even the 182 mill right now. Teams didn’t wanna give it to him but all of a sudden Dodgers said ok we’ll give u a long term contract. Everyone is up and arms about it. There were plenty of times other Teams could have signed him but they didn’t...Also, Deffered contract is not exclusive to Dodgers. All MLB teams can do the same,. Actaully deffered contracts has been happening for more than 30 yrs. that's why there was the Bobby Bonilla contract.

I followed Ohtani to Dodgers last winter. And I’m thankful as a baseball fan. Not only did Dodgers gave me my first WS championship taste in 15 years, they continue to be smart about spending for the best talent. As a fan I can really appreciate this 👍

I can see Bueller coming back as a closer. As far as Sasaki I definitely now can see him as a Dodger not because of the money or any of that, the winning. Just because his development which if it truly is important, a six-man rotation where he can be the fifth or sixth guy, while he's adjusting. That's great for his development.

By signing Blake Snell, Freddy Freeman, Ohtani, Teoscar Hernandez, Mokie Betts, Tommy Tanks and etc. These guys make everyone in the lineup become a superstar within themselves. Blake Snell the last 4 years averages 135 innings pitched, Tyler Glasnow averages even lower...that's the challenge for Dave and Prior...manage their workload and have this guys healthy and up and running in October...

Teoscar will be back and we want him back. The other corner will be a platoon with Pages and Rushing. I expect the Dodgers to sign the SS free agent from San Diego and then sign Sasaki. This is what I feel is right and makes the best team and not over paying for stuff they don't need or have too. The dynamic of this team is very important.

Were getting Bo this Winter Meeting! Bo will Mash in the 5-7 hole too. Roajs n Freeland will platoon and learn from him as well. Rushing will replace Teo defensively eventually this season, and will get close to hitting maybe? Rushing can be a good back up C to in the playoffs, so Will can fn relax n get some hits in there. Edman, Pages n Maybe Outman can handle the 8-9 holes above avg. Smith n Max will do their thing in the 4-5 holes. If Max, Will n Rush can't do much , then we'll get a fill in at trade deadline. Rooker, Belli, O'Neil, maybe Julio Rodriguez?! Ms would trade him for a 3 pack of Prospects. Bo will be gone after 2025, so there's no real loss if he doesn't produce. We'll fix Bo, plus Bo will be back in the sunshine n be happy as hell ( he grew up in FLA). so yeah.... Sunshine kids dont like the cold! I was fn miserable moving from Lodi to Northern Washington State. Bo will be back to his old self.

So Bob thinks no on Soto, no on Adames. Just go with Rojas. Rojas is not an every day starter. Adames is a clear upgrade as a fielder and especially as a hitter. He also walks a lot. He'll give other hitters better pitches to look at by his mere presence. And, as far as Soto, he's the next Ted Williams. You can pair him with Babe Ruth. You try and do it.

I was on the adames wagon now im happy with edman playing the position. Im definitely not a soto fan but with snell who im also not a fan of i like burnes better but i get it hes a lefty. Lets sign soto too then we have an unstoppable team. I would wish roki would come over and i would trade for crochet and roberts. Now we have cf and bolster up the pitching staff. Kershaw or may any of those guys can be in the bullpen. I rather that then spend the money on adames and of course sign teo.

@@thefigs117 Adames's 32 HR and 112 RBI's are a big upgrade over Rojas and Edman. Plus, this moves Edman to center which he plays great. It allows you to use Edman as a back up at short and play Pages in center on platoon days. I agree on making May and Treinnen your closers. Roki, as you point out is a no brainer. He's cheap and could be the next rookie of the year/cy young winner. And finally, you and I might be the only two that see Soto as making this line up simply unfair. Let the Dodgers training staff improve his defense. But his bat is worth the defensive drop off.

do any of you la haters out there realize that for a baseball team to spend a ton of money , they have to make a ton of money? meaning= managing is part of the team and the game and the club house. and the teams success. its as important as Mookie hitting 30 hrs. Adames is more important to this team than Soto. He will fill the SS position for years. We have Rushing, Pages, DiPaulo, etc. to develop as a LF, but we have no one who would be a top SS on this team......

@@thefigs117 Too many prospects, soon we'll need Rushing, Ferris etc as we can't sit in the Cohen tax forever else we can't draft. Roberts is interesting, center the trade around Lux maybe. I am intrigued with Bichette, down year but he is a really nice contact bat and serviceable SS then Edman can play CF mostly. We have options in trade market for SS/CF - I'd stay away from Adames. Bad feeling about him.
