My first antenna (Based on this channels rec) Was a Chameleon EMCOMM III portable. Set up as an EFHW sloper. Still my favorite. Ward, you just gave me some great ideas for other configurations with it. Thank you!!!

Cool. My first ham antenna made just a few months ago is a RANDOM end-fed of 41ft, and I have to say it woks very well on most of the bands from 40-10, but surprsingly, I've also made some 80mand 75m QSO's on it, albeit not very distant ones (Oregon to NW Washington) with great signal reports. Thanks for all you do btw.

Just a wee thing: the bridge of a guitar is the other end from the tuners. You were thinking of the nut - and I loved doing that too btw. 😁

I've heard it explained that because current is low at the end, it does not take a large counterpoise to mirror the current near the end. I wonder what you and Ward think of Les Moxonns design of having 0.55 wavelength radiator with a 0.05 wavelength counterpoise.

How long until they get to the content?

Great video! Just uploaded field measurements (SNR measurements) between a Dipole (center fed) and an Endfed. Maybe someone finds that interesting.
