Thanks for this. I learned more from this video than I am in my finance class. I’m doing a project right now with 2 evenly weighted stocks, and now I know how to write my comparison. Thank you!

you missed the most important part, how to factor into expected earnings. If the expectation is 8% and it has a Beta of 1.5, you adjust your earnings (8x1.5) = 12% - very important way to use Beta for analysis

I would love to know your take cause other than global scenarios I feel he is fundamentally correct
@tabucyedisamsun24254 ай бұрын
@@meltedice-cream6499 as a smalltime btc investor I wish beta=0 for btc but it is not possible nowadays... maybe 5 years ago when there is a global instability we might have seen btc was moving independently but nowadays I am following traditional economy resources like interest rates from Powell to 10 years state bonds prices to guess the direction. I can't link at the youtube so there is a piece from a text: Similarly, as with the case of Bitcoin, traders also began to inject more funds into the crypto market and speculated rampantly thanks to easy access to funds and stimulus checks issued by the government. This eventually led to Bitcoin reaching an all-time high right before the federal government pulled the plug by raising interest rates.
