How does climate change affect manatees?

Watch this short video to learn more about the various ways that climate change can affect manatees and their habitat.
While warming waters seem to be ideal for manatees, climate change comes with a lot more than that including heavier storms and hurricanes, saltwater intrusion, rising sea levels and diversion of funds from protection of individual species like manatees to global initiatives to fight the effects of a warming climate.
