@@lanalove1985I would say to not over complicate it and just make a weekly/bi-weekly contribution to about 3-5 ETF. Weather it’s $10-$500 it’s really all up to you but what matters is that you have some skin in the markets at all times. Next thing you know 20 years pass by and you have a 6 figure+ portfolio. I personally have an automated process to where my main checking account automatically deposits cash into my brokerage account and most brokerages give you the option to have a bot balance your portfolio (AI) or you can go in and allocate manually.

But by the end of the year it had shot back up again and gained 19percent !! The advice I was given is to hold stock for at least 5-10 years as growth is not a straight line.
