When their neighbour confronts them regarding dhanush harassing their neighbourhood girls with his camera, she responds by fake rape case. Selvaraghavan's decline started in this movie. His first 5 were all goated. Same psycho dhanush but they made sense. In Kadhal Kondein, Dhanush was a psycho, but he was abused as a child, so we could still empathize. In Pudhupettai, he was also a psycho but he was a criminal, so it made sense. In Mayakkam Enna, Dhanush is a normal guy, doesn't respect his friends' friends, steals his best friends' gf, attacks his friend's groom, uses his MMA skills to give his wife abortion. Why would his friends stay with him? Depression ku oru solution kuda try pannala. With all that being said, I still watch this movie appo appo, because it was directed well. Story sucks ass, but the acting was very good. That's why only Selvaragavan declined. While Dhanush is still in form. Selvaraghavan was what Vetrimaran pretended to be in the later years. Us 90s kids expected a lot from him after the internet era.

And about his depression, she allowed him to drink because she didn't know how to make him free from the pain that was caused by the traitor Photographer. That's why she allowed him to even beat herself, do whatever he wanted, only out of love and pity on him, which also included fighting with the neighbours! Actually Selvaraghavan is always goated!!! Just few minus points but he is a 💎! And about treatment, the only solution is to stop drinking and she doesn't want to stop that from him, the reason I already explained above!
