Hello Pythoholic,, Great Content , i ahve a question at 5:55 why did ASG simply created a new instance, there's no traffic nor high CPU utilization, then how come it has launched an instance simply ?

Thanks mike, If we delete the instance the ASG will launch a new one. In this case I changed the asg desired value to 2 Ie why it launched a new one

Yes aws provides a predictive scheduling where based on your load it will predict and schedule the instances for you. Or else you can use scheduled instances .. or based on the cpu utilization you can create alarms to trigger a spin of new instance

Sure once you are done with the demo, Please terminate all instances and clear all the resources you created;

@@Pythoholic Thank you. I was stuck with my lab for quite a while. It turned out my script had some problems with the keyboard input giving me error of bad gateway 502. It must have had some characters from my Chinese keyboard, which looks very similar to English. Man, that drove me mad for a day.

One more thing if we have lode balancer to monitor traffic or performance...why we use cloud watch then?

The loadbalancer monitoring works on some parameter like status code interval timeout threshold level for the instance it is targeted to but cloud watch majorly works on metrices.
