Satoru Gojo is the strongest sorcerer in Jujutsu Kaisen, but have you ever wondered how exactly his Domain Expansion works? Gojo’s powers are already pretty complicated, with many fans not truly understanding how his Limitless and Sixeyes techniques work together to make him so strong, but basically Gojo takes advantage of the concept of Infinity and makes it real using his curse technique, meaning he can create an infinitely large or small space inbetween him and any other person or object and do some pretty wacky things like create imaginary objects that tear holes in spacetime, but for Gojo’s Domain Unlimited Void, he actually places the target in domain where their brain is constantly receiving stimuli and an endless stream to the point where their body can’t process the massive amounts of information and sensations all filling in at once. It’s like the target’s brain is infinitely filling with signals that your body has to respond to, but overwhelms you so that your body never gets the chance, causing you to become frozen.

What others may not know about Infinite Void is that not only does it deal mental damage, but it also deals physical damage to the brain. The physical damage to the brain is what saved Gojo from getting killed by Sukuna's attempt to summon his DE. Basically, after getting hit with Unlimited Void, not only did Sukuna healed his brain to reclaim his CT, but he also had to recover it from the effects of UV, which caused his output to drop to the point of being unable to use DE again.
