Internet is funny. Success is mistaken as wisdom. People without understanding of basic math can give you investment advice cause they have got lucky in their career/investment. USD was 62 inr 10 yrs back, now it's 83. That's a cagr of 2.9%. Would be interesting to see how this guy makes 7% risk free just on rupee depreciation.

Great advise. But now a ways most people hardly get 1 lakh salary on average, save 10 lakh per year. You cannot buy real estate in 5-10years. This would make sense 5-6 years ago. In my own case were extremely middle class family but our ancestoral house is suddenly 4 crores. But we cannot sell it as we live in it. Now imagine someone who wants to buy a house now? For even 1 crore it would take a lot of time.
