I like that you can detach the battery on the x6200 - I think that could make air travel easier with it (where TSA only lets you bring them as carry-on, and where other countries might want you to unplug the battery from the radio and block the terminals).

I haven't had trouble with TSA and radios. Its more of a "can the see through it" issue - "density" than it is a "what's that?"

I made the mistake of starting with a g90 and have no where to upgrade to. 😢 this is twice the price less than half the power and not much smaller. Where g95 with 40w @500usd While a decent upgrade from a 6100 it’s just way too expensive for a china qrp radio.

What are your thoughts on the added weight? I know that with some Devices wait is added purely from an ergonomically standpoint. Is that the case here or do you think the internal components have increased in weight like the screen battery etc? Lower power output and changing from metal to plastic I would have thought would reduce the weight or at least keep it the same
@temporarilyoffline5 ай бұрын
For sure the adding of a replaceable batter system adds weight, but yes I would have guessed that going to plastics would have lowered it back down. It's confusing for sure. When I open one up I'll know a bit more.
