How Does Our Autistic 3 Year Old Play- At the Park

Today Tessie, our 3 year old on the autism spectrum, heads to the park with the rest of the family to play and you get a Tessie-eye-view of what time at the park with Tessie is like because she wore the Go-Pro for the entire trip! Tessie is very active, and hardly ever stops moving and so todays video shows two points of view, both from mom's camera and from Tessie's camera, to give the best perspective on what it's like when Tessie goes to the park to play!

My 3 year old loves the sensory things at the park the first things she goes for are the trampolines merry-go-round water play and the swing also if a park has ducks she likes to chase the ducks

I’m sorry you are hurting. ❤️ I know it’s so hard in the beginning, working through all the emotions, and sometimes I think it’s important just to feel them and know that it gets better and easier. One thing that helped me a lot when Maggie was diagnosed was searching out the words of adults who are autistic and listening to their experiences. It really helped me a lot at a time when I was afraid. Hang in there. ❤️

He actually climbed up there on his own. Whenever I make videos he usually settles on my lap if he isn't out playing with the kids in the playroom, but he also likes to jump up on the night stand and walk along the back of the chair and sometimes climb on my shoulder. The (kind of) danger is that sometimes he falls and tumbles down with his little claws flying around because he isn't quite good at it yet. He's such a funny little guy! His other favorite thing to do is to sit on my chest when I'm editing a video and I'll keep getting him to lay down so I can see the video too, and then he'll get excited and sit up again and I can't see anything! But I love all the kitty snuggles.
