In my personal experience, it doesn't matter what you do to get rid of your karma, you have to go through the phase because you are binded energetically and helplessly in the situation. Unless the time comes, you don't feel released yourself from limited I which is cause of all suffering. But one thing for sure happens. In the chant or surrendering to divine, you become observer to your situations though going through ups & downs of life. Thats how I understood that there is only divine in the world & rest of it's just like toddlers play.

Haha. This is so true. The first 4 minutes happened to me. I was blessed to meet a gaudiya vaishanava uncle in 2012-2014. He tried his best to educate me on the teachings of Gita. Being an ignorant 19-21 yo at that time. I was into the degeneracy of this material life. Drugs alcohol womanising and gambling. Fast forward 10 years. I've reflected on my mistakes and search for the Gita and other scriptures on my own. Looking for redemption.

Look, dear, the man keeps saying that regardless of how good we become and how deeply we meditate, it doesn't matter when it comes to our past and present sins. It doesn't matter how devoted we are to worshiping and meditating. Why do we need the world if everyone abandons their work to meditate? Do we think it will be effective? No, it won't. What if engineers, doctors, and other professionals all stopped working to meditate? It wouldn't work. You need to fulfill your responsibilities first, and then you can focus on meditation and worship. Here's an example: Imagine a person who uses a weapon to harm innocent people. Even if that person later becomes virtuous, their past sins don't just disappear. They still need to face the consequences in this life or the next. There's a common problem among rich and successful people: they often believe that their success in life is the ultimate achievement. However, this perspective is a bit shortsighted because, in the end, everyone will face their own mortality. Successful and wealthy individuals attribute their accomplishments to their personal experiences and often wonder why others can't be like them. They may think, "Why don't they understand how I make money?" This mindset can be quite arrogant. In reality, true success encompasses not only material wealth but also empathy, understanding, and down-to-earth towards the struggles and experiences of others.

But what about billions of people who do not have a clue about karma? How can they learn anything when something happens to them and they do not know the reason why is happening?
