I now identify as a staff member of Many Bidets and therefore will be needing my two Ultra Novas to outfit my new house I just bought.

😆 It is a great job to have!

I like the auto flush, clean options. As well as a sitable seat

The sittable lid is definitely a great feature to have on the Ultra Nova! Thanks for watching!

Maybe mentioned but the seamless no gap design of the Toto was my determining factor. No crevices to catch yucky stuff

It is great to have one less place for stuff to build up! Thanks for watching!

Is the novo two piece or one seamless seat?

My bathroom is laid out in a way that requires walking past the toilet to access other things, so I really don't like the automatic seat opening and pre-mist when you enter the bathroom. Fortunately they are both disableable. For auto-flush, if you have a wall mounted toilet, you need a compatible wall tank/carrier that has an auto-flush motor for the remote control to communicate with. If you have tiled in your non-auto flush carrier tank, and don't want to overhaul your entire bathroom for tens of thousands of dollars, you can convert your carrier to an autoflush carrier tank with the right parts, but it is a complex DIY with some risks. Buying the auto-flush motor that communicates with the remote and operates the valve inside the tank as an aftermarket part, means your carrier tank doesn't have a little harness for it to snap into, so you have to fashion something to hold it in the right position in the tank. This involves drying out the plastic tank completely, fashioning a harness/mount of some sort to hold the auto-flush motor in a way that allows it to be removed for maintenance, and gluing the harness to the inside of the tank with something like West Systems G-Flex (This is one of the only adhesives that will reliably bond to HDPE plastic tank). The bidet people in the USA don't know much about wall toilets, and the plumbing showroom people routinely sell the wrong carrier because they think a bidet is just a after-market snap-on component. Basically they are all selling European and Asian toilet systems, but they don't know how they are originally intended to work.

But you need a plug to be beside the toilet - right?
@ManyBidets9 ай бұрын
We find that a lot of times folks will have an outlet installed near the toilet if they don't already have one nearby or an extension cord can be used. We recommend at least a 14 gauge extension cord.

how does the dryer feature compare between these two bidet seats or other bidet seats?
@ManyBidets7 ай бұрын
These two are probably the top two for dryers. They are both pretty comparable.

Does the seat also auto open or just the lid? I wonder if there is a bidet in the market that the seat also auto open so you don't have to touch it.
@ManyBidetsАй бұрын
The Ultra-Nova's seat will auto close with the lid, however the seat does not automatically open on its own. The S7A can be programmed to automatically open and close the seat and lid. Thank you for watching!

How is the water enema different that the high pressure spray? Couldn't they technically both do the same job?
@ManyBidets23 күн бұрын
The enema wash has a special spray nozzle design that creates a narrower, more pinpointed high pressure wash stream that can work its way into the lower intestine to help break up constipation.

Im in the market for a bidet, I want one with all the electric gadgets aside from the heated seats and warm water (as I have a warm water water line placed) and Im not wanting to get a dedicated 20amp plug to support the heated seat etc. Would you recommend a bidet seat where maybe you can turn off the heat function? Or is that possible? Also fits a standard toilet
@ManyBidets9 ай бұрын
Thanks for your question! You will not want to install an electric bidet seat to a hot water line. Most bidets can be plugged into a 15 amp circuit as long as that circuit is not already heavily loaded or you can run an extension cord if you do not have a plug close by. If you are wanting to hook up to a hot water line, you will be looking at a non-electric option.

I am about to buy a Toto S7A. Do you know if someone weighing ~350lb can seat on it without breaking it?
@ManyBidets9 ай бұрын
The seat is rated for 330lbs but is made from polypropylene which has some flex to it. Although it might be alright for someone weighing 350 lbs the safest option would be to get a seat rated for 400 lbs or more. If you want to check out those options, then the Eco-Nova and Cascade 3000 are both rated for 400 lbs and the Ultra-Nova is rated for 440 lbs. Feel free to reach out if you would more information on any of them.

I need a water enema to clean, sorry but that's the only way a bidet can get everything. Ultra-Nova it is.
