Zakat is not mere 2.5% Tax but whole "Economic System" of Islam. That so called 2.5% tax is mere a tiny part of system of Zakat. Quran has not fixed that minor tax to 2.5% so that Shoora could keep that percentage up down as per circumstances of Muslim State. Otherwise if God can mention in Quran inheritance percentages like 1/2, 1/6, 1/4 etc; then what was difficult for God to put also 2.5% figure for Zakat in Quran! Prophet left only Quran. All extra-Quranic hadiths are Fabricated tales.

If all Ahadith are "fabricated tales", as you think. Tell me why Allah chose or needed a Human being, ashraf ul makhlooq, to reveal the Quran to? Why he didn't reveal the Quran upon a Mountain? He could have put the Holy Quran anywhere on Earth. Why is there many many ayats telling the believers: Atee ullah wa atee ur rasool ??? I highly doubt you believe in Quran and Allah. You just an atheist in disguise because you are born in a Muslim family or country. But They are so much unreligious or sect-religious that you are like this. I'm sorry about those hard words because your last line needed the same treatment but please correct yourself.
