How Dragon Fire is Created in Dragons of HoTD & GoT?

Was always confused as the why the fire looked like it came from deep in the throat rather the two tubes in thier mouths, I always thought those tubes produced chemicals that when they contact eact other produce the fire

I feel like the tubes shoot a gas but they can "burp" for lack of a better word a little fire, like a pilot light. They heat up their throat for a second then breathe it really hard and it ignites the gas tubes to make a flame thrower

Dragons are magic. Bran's magic is not strong enough to mess with Valyrian magic... He can do so with other animals and humans but not with powerful Magical beasts
