hi, Tracy! I'm a brazilian animator and I just want to thank you very, very much for such an incredible series of 2d fx tutorials! it's really hard to find good material on the subject and yours is top notch. also, this subject in particular reminded me of an episode of Proko's podcast in which Marshall talks about drawing with a "metaphorical mindset" or something like that (like drawing lightining inspired by a tree, like you did here). anyways, thx again, this was really inspiring =]
