Flashback didnt leave because he was underperforming but because of personal issues. If you look at their games in kickoff Flashback was actually their 2nd highest rated player after mako.

The original plan by DRX was to Bench Foxy9 because of his discomfort on the Viper. They were going to Bench him and replace him with Beyn but due to some personal issues Flashback had to leave giving Foxy9 the opportunity to come back on the sentinel role with Mako taking over the Viper.

Yup. The funniest part of all this is that many people seem to have forgotten that mako was the viper plauer before champs last year and talk about it as if it was something revolutionary that drx did. And also, i find it weird that drx put foxy9 on viper. Viper is an agent that really requires players that are controller mains or are smart players because playing around with viper utility isn't easy. Mako is an excellent controller player whilst zest is a very intelligent player too which is why he was successful. Foxy9 isn't that type of player and definitely would have suited playing the omen more than viper and do what sentinels did with tenz. However, as a sentinel, i do think foxy9 suits what drx want to do more than flashback. Being a jett main, he's much more aggressive and the way they take space is different. Flashback prefers to find lurk timings while foxy9 wants to fight and push off opposition players from certain positions. His fight with meteor on bind showers was fun to watch. I believe that is better for what drx want to do.
