Hey Nikita Thakur, I completely agree with the message of this video. These repetitive TV serials are truly damaging. My own sister, born in 2001, is living proof of how harmful this content can be. She started watching Indian serials on KZbin during the 2019 lockdown, and since then, her entire focus has been consumed by them. She watched Patiala Babes - a 349-episode show - two to three times! This obsession has had serious consequences. She has failed the same class multiple times and has no interest in anything outside these shows. It’s heartbreaking to see how these serials are making people lose touch with real life and common sense. I truly believe these shows are making people dumb, and there needs to be some kind of control or regulation. Thank you for raising awareness about this issue - it’s much needed!

That’s a shame because Patiala babes is one of the rare shows with good social messaging. The main character is focused on women empowerment and being independent and how to be strong about social injustices. But agreed that shows can be distracting for teenagers.
