Well done indeed! Here in the US 'conventional wisdom' with the cars I'm familiar with ('30s American cars) is that its wise to replace leaf springs in pairs to avoid a recurrence on the other side. Might be wise to be looking for another spring. Just a thought. The Mrs; and I holidayed extensively in Perthshire using self-catering cottages on the late nineties and early 2000s using rental cars. Thank you, yes we replaced both sides, however would have settled with one to get us home. It is a lovely part of Scotland in Dumfries and Galloway if your ever back this side of the water

I was going to make the same comment regarding the replacement of springs in pairs. Never replace one side only!

Hi, yes once the rear axle back inline then the steering came right. thank you
