In hindsight, the Falcon OLine was much better than the Saints' O-line. There was a lot of radio, TV, and internet commentary on the Falcon game. What people said about the lack of pressure on the Falcon QB must have gotten to the Eagles. I think they must have been angry. But the Saints looked small opposite Carter and Davis. Also, why were so many Eagles players ending up with concussions? The final player in on Devonta Smith definitely went head to head without a penalty. And Penning drove a player past the sideline into the bench resulting in an injury. Play like that should result in players being ruled out of the game.

@Stephen_VieleАй бұрын
They need to either draft a DE or an Oline replacement for Lane (for when the time comes) as the team stands right now. Not sure about contracts and such next year but as of now my game plan would be to take the best DE and if you have bad value in that position come pick time go for the best Tackle. Every other positions I'm pretty happy with. Unless Hurts crashes and burns this season then I may be looking at QBs but hopefully that's something we won't have to worry about.
@khayes9702Ай бұрын
@@Stephen_Viele yeah you’re exactly right. I just want the best players out there and the worse ones off the field. I would say Sweat shouldn’t be starting either but there’s no one else that I’m comfortable with other than BG. We only have one DE and he’s retiring. Sweat, Nolan, Huff all either bad players or at very least shouldn’t be starting. Even if Hurts continues to be bad I’d say Nick is probably gone, draft the best DE, DT, Tackle, Guard. With first four picks.

The offense needs to clean up the turnovers, and Sirianni needs to start kicking field goals instead of being greedy early on in games. Outside of that, I think they can get a pass. They started the game without their possible future HoF receiver, and then lost their HoF RT and their top receiver in Smith. I think they did alright considering how thin they were getting on offense, Moore called some clutch plays when the game needed it Carter has a high ceiling, dare I say an Aaron Donald type ceiling, just need him to stay above reproach off the field…perhaps that’s not a real worry though.
