Ok, so watching again post-ray score the enemy Trevenant has already reappeared. Most likely he jumped bottom bc going top doesn't have any sense, you're not stopping a score on your first top base So, maybe Blastoise saw the shield from base activating (and still wanting to score) so he starts going to top. Just backing would have been better but... So, why he jumped top? Most likely is a Switch player so it has top selected by default. He's nervous and press the jump button too quickly and... That happens Truly a bad day
