A discussion about Thessalonians 5:21 would have been appropriate here; we are called to be critical. Regardless, it's impossible to grow without criticism. The trick is to sorting out the haters from the critics. Being dispassionate, I find, is the key for me to gain real insight, and figure out what is useful in a review and what is hate.
