How Egyptian man solve problem between his love and family ?

Hi 👋 it's true of everything you're saying. In my situation, he and myself already in LDR relationship for 3 years and still going strong till now. We talk about marriage and almost everything including financial stuff but he's in dilemma how to tell his family because he knew they will not agree and has potential to disown from his family. He told me that he will come to my country to marry and live with me and after that he will bring me home to meet his family but we will not stay there permanently because he wants to stay in my country. I told him thats okay but it's better to have agreements and blessing from both side of family as my family is okay with our relationship. Now he's already working, i wanna have this type of conversation again but I don't know what to say and I'm afraid about his family reaction about me and I'm worried about him too. Btw we both Muslim

@medalynrivera9240 from my experience this can change. In fact this was my story, my mother in law didn't want to accept me but later on she did. So don't lose hope in that . However not all women are so lucky and not all Egyptian mother in law change their minds. Unfortunately Egypt the boy must consider even family opinion. And if he didn't change their minds and they would never agree to it so there will be no future for you too . Idk if you meet his family personally, however maybe if you did in that point could all change. But still this would be the best discuss personally on a call,.where I could tell you all the details. @laura_615 that's not entirely true what you advise here. Egypt is very different in this. If this happens in Europe okay fine go on but not in Egypt! He must listen his family and take their opinion seriously. He cannot lose his own family in Egypt, that's a big shame here. As I told many time : Egyptian family is at the first place for them. And this fact will never change.

@@TheNiqabGirl so far i didnt meet his family..i am asking for him about that.but he keep saying that its really hard for him.even he try to talk his mother but it doesn't work..she just saying that she already found a women for him.but he refuse...he told me that as long as i keep holding on our relationship we can't loose each other..thanks for some advice.god bless.
