Well, here it is. The follow-up you've been waiting for. Sort of. Not quite. But it's the best you're gonna get. I tried to address everything in one video so I wouldn't find myself realizing I missed something and want to redo it, but that always happens no matter what, so if I left out something that you find crucial or are merely somewhat curious about, feel free to ask a question and I will answer it if I have an answer (and if I see it in the first place, between me turning off comment notifications and KZbin being KZbin, there's no guarantee I will). There's still a lot of surrounding info I left out because it just wasn't relevant enough to the main story. I tried to keep this focused and to the point, for once. Hopefully I succeeded and this was a satisfactory end.

My thoughts exactly. Lots of animators try to look impressive or funny, but even if their graphic quality is amazing, everything else seems to fall by the wayside. While it is nice to get a closing series of events, I also enjoyed hearing all of your ideas, critiques and thought processes behind the series. It's clear that there was imagination here, at least initially, even though you didn't have the means to fully develop or realize these ideas at the time. It's a refreshing change from newer content that's visually impressive but follows the same cliche corporate themes, or jumps you with a different meme every 5 seconds as the primary means of maintaining attention. So, thanks for sharing this final video with us and hope that it did help you move on as well.

Man, what a ride. Yes, this is one hell of a late response, and in fact I hope to not to get any answer from will himself. This is more like leaving final note on old memorial of something important and personal to me, that I just happened to be able to visit very late. It's been a decade. I just hit 20. I have a part-time job, I'm about to finish technical degree, I own a car and even a bloody gun. I and many people have come a long way since the days we first saw this amateur attempt at animation that completely buried our teen selves into their seats. And here I am, on similar artistic crossroads with scale that may-or-may-not be way out of proportions. I'm writing a book with quite ambitious goal to achieve. Hopefully mistakes broken down here will be my lesson. It's been an honor to witness this rough-around-the-edges milestone in my childhood and it sure will be pleasure to carry just that one more spark of inspiration within my own project. Thanks, Will.

I personally believe that you’re being too harsh on yourself, I’ll try not to talk from a place of nostalgia (and also I’m not that knowledgeable of minecraft anymore) i have some points I want to talk about because this really means a lot to me and I enjoy watching it even when I’m 20 years old now -this series has has shown me one of the greatest characters of all time that is wrecker, everything from his design with the horned helmet to his mentality and singing he’s so *chef kiss* and the triplets are great too and have a lot of potential, i can see click clack having a grudge against them since they were kinda responsible for boom’s death -the former general being the endermaster ex best friend didn’t translate well at all, I thought it was a last minute thing actually even if i could be wrong, i would have thought he would be more questioning to the endermaster and maybe a hesitant to obey his orders but other than that i like him -even with your explanation of why the endermaster hate humans it contradict with him living happily with villagers when he was human himself (unless villagers don’t count as humans idk how minecraft world works (but then that won’t explain why the endermen kill them too)) -the only thing that i could say i didn’t like and didn’t age well is using the r slur in one of the episodes. The animation didn’t matter that much to me (I’m not saying I don’t like it, I actually love how you animate from episode 8 and up) because the story absolutely carried -like I can’t express this enough, i love the story so much, i can see that you’re remaking the series this year (unless I’m wrong and that’s not you) but i will 100% read it if you made it into a book or any type of media if you hate animation so much -i hope this doesn’t come out as too mean but the main group don’t look like they’re from the same world? Especially katie with her design that looks like it’s from an entirely different genre That’s all i have to say for now at least, I’m sure I’m gonna add more rambles to this as I rewatch next time
