that's why i'm also drawn into erwan's vlogs because he speaks so well and so poetic. He always makes sense

Our society lost something special when we gave up the written word in the form of letters for the haste and instantaneous nature of modern technology (aka texting and emailing). The thoughtful composition of a letter and the anticipation of its receipt cannot be underestimated for its ability to build such a strong heart connection between lovers, or even just friends. I can see how Erwan's postcard writing, and compiling of mix tapes, could have had such a powerful impact in wooing Anne. More of that should be done today, and it doesn't really matter if the person writing is not very poetic. In fact, I think writing a love note would have even more impact nowadays because so few people do it as a regular practice.

Erwan's way of befriending or courting Anne was considered an old-fashioned way sa edad niya. That's how we were doing things in the '90s. If someone like Erwan courted me during those days, he got my heart. And to think I was born in late '60s huh. I never thought that Erwan's personality is like this. 🙂

Erwan’s story takes me back in time. He’s a classic romantic guy. I kinda miss those times when a certain guy that I was close with would give me mixed CDs or mp3s…I guessed he liked me back then too.

We don't need to put down new generation's way by saying ours is better. They don't know our ways before it has come and pass and it's 'our' generation's great memory. The new gen are born in there own era of amazing technology and yeah we looked down at them sometimes bec we believe they are disconnected with reality but this is their reality and it can be as true as ours. They made friends all over the world made possible by soc med. Sometimes the downside of it we are part of too, we use soc med to babysit our children or to show off by getting them gadgets at an early age and we complain when they get addicted. This new gen is internet ready they are as great as we are.
