I am 100% for developers using blockchain for their game or product if it enhances ownership. But ... the way it's going to be implemented inside Eve Frontier leaves me with more questions than answers really. Right now, the only upside I see is that it would completely destroy ISK and PLEX by turning it into crypto coins that you could sell for IRL money or NFT.

"i trust ccp games to make a good game" what record of ccp makes you believe this? Eve online is the outlier not the rule. dust faild, valkyrie faild, eve online walk in stations faild. the vampire game faild. every other game cpp layed hands on faild. there is no track record of success. vanguard pretty much will fail. the best ccp devs dont work for ccp games anymore. everyone that will get hyped about this prepare for a hard landing. the times are gone ccp cared about their customers.and this reflects in all the micro transactions within eve. it stopped being a game for gamers it became a game for share holders

yeah ok , so i go buy my shiny ship and its on the blockchain . Fantastic . 2 years down the line ccp decides to close the game because its not making them money . Then my shiny blockchain ship becomes just another bored ape jpeg . yeah , no thanks.

The EVE Forever theme didn't begin recently. I remember Hilmar talking about it while sitting in the audience at Fanfest in 2013. I believe the concept made its public debut in the EVE: Forever trailer released in the spring of 2011. That's right, the concept pre-dates Incarna and 2011's Summer of Love. By the way, with the level of hype you put in this video, you shouldn't be surprised if anyone calls you a shill or white knight for CCP. The fact you're in the EVE Partner program doesn't help fight against the perception.
