Lightning Swords never had a system release, the Evercade was its first release outside the Arcade, i think it confirms that in the manual. So even more value for your money.

Don't believe what you read from Blaze as they like bending the truth. Lightning Swords first came to the west on the Super Retrocade about 18 months before Evercade under it's Japanese name Ken-go. They are also claiming Zero Tolerance Underground is the first ever official release over at Funstock yet I received a physical copy from Limited Run Games over a year ago! And Sol-Deace they are saying is the first ever release in the west, Limited Run Games were selling it last year for Genesis/Megadrive, and before that it was a launch game for the Sega CD known as Sol-Feace which was basically the MD cart with a CD sound track. Blaze are sneaky... 😁

@@MIKandJEAN, yup…I have the super Retrocade as well👍. I do really like Blaze/Evercade, but you’re right. They do try sneaking some things in without the full details once in awhile lol

It is. I was just comparing the prices if one was to buy the console versions individually. $20-$25 for 6 arcade versions on 1 cart is a great deal👍

was interested in an evercade but not sure if the roms thy put in their carts are ports or the original arcade. like their technos cart i think has combatibes but i can't seem to find any info about whether its the snes port or the full arcade game. an arcade accurate version of combatribes has never been brought home before.

It should be the arcade version as it is on one of the arcade carts.

The Arcade carts (purple cases) are the licensed arcade versions of the game. The other colored carts, the ROMS vary 👍

Yeah, this is one way to look at it and not only do you save money overall but this doesn't include that you'd need the original consoles for all of those vs having the Evercade playing it all. When I first got into Evercade my original reasoning was I already bought Xeno Crisis and Tanzer for the Genesis spending about $60 in total (official Xeno but bootleg Tanzer) so I would have saved money and had more games to go with it had I bought the Evercade carts. Then you get to Piko1 and not only is it 20 games but so many of those are not known so I can't imagine you're finding too many copies of Dragon View in the wild and Brave Battle Saga wasn't even published in English until recently. Of course I'm still annoyed that if you go to amazon you really can't find any carts for $20 anymore but that's another story.

Yeah, only way you get them at $20 on Amazon is if you pre order…..Or buy within a week after the cart was released.
