@@quantom6 As a powerplay vet myself Open only powerplay is definitely something that's been wanted for a very long time, though the biggest improvement they could make is to get rid of the stupid quota caps that do nothing but make PP hauling a tedious financially draining process especially when coming back into it after a break.

It was utterly atrocious. It would've been okay, in 2019....... Now we should have a massively upgraded cobra engine, comprehensive ship interiors, thicker landable atmospheres, more surface activities like mining etc, maybe even base building. By now we should have got a 60 min massive demo not an interview with some photos 😂😂😂😂 It's over man. All eyes on Star Citizen and No Man's Sky this year.

It's hilarious. Saw they actually uploaded something on there channel after a year and you summed it up quicker in 2 minutes than then did in 10. Frontier are amazing at one thing and one thing only. Promising to communicate with their fans more and never doing it. And when they do they are so vague they may as well have not said anything. I assume they are so vague because they always want as much wiggle room as possible to back pedal and half ass a release with 10% the features it should have.

Frontier has screwed over its player base repeatedly while censoring criticism and amplifying white knights. The game is all grind for engagement at this point. Odyssey was a massive flop and still is. Greed has torn Elite: Dangerous apart. I have next to no hope for Elite: Dangerous

I have so many good memories of ED on my xbox then on my pc. But now i just cant go back.. they stopped caring about what we want and when a new announcement is released on steam you can look at the comments and hear the community screaming at them with what they want. But they dont care. I miss ED so much for the story and events. Like the ship that was out in the middle of nowhere before the thargoids came. Everything was so amazing. But now im a star citizwn player. That game has its issues but i find it more fun and enjoyable that ED. Maybe ill come back for the new ship for a couple of hours but, not for long.

Nothing took the wind out of my sails quite like logging back in recently on console. And being constantly greeted by Cobra errors. Dropping out of lightcruise? Disconnect. Dropping out of witchspace? Disconnect. Outfitting a ship? Disconnect. Choosing a mission? Disconnect. TURNING IN a mission? Believe it or not. Disconnect. Oh but naturally the game has no problem connecting me to the ARX store. Of course. I just love that a game I’ve poured a decent chunk of my life into basically became abandonware on my chosen hardware overnight for no other reason then because they lack the talent and work ethic to properly optimize their game. Instead electing to tell a massive chunk of their player-base to go fuck themselves.

I be willing to bet they will charge players for that next update/patch/content. Your friends will have to buy it too, so they can play with you. Meanwhile the scam SC hasn't charged me or my friends anymore since 2013 to continue to play it. Remind me again when ED was announced and kickstarted, and still hasn't achieved all they promised. To think its crazy to throw money at an unfished game. But hey, at least they can say its released.

Well they have to make money somehow, and if you only have about 30 ships the market for cosmetics saturates quickly. It's either paid expansions or subscriptions (or ship sales, but the ED community is very much against that idea).

I really hope SC doesn't remove ship sales from the site. Its always an option for those who can, and those who can't. But those who can't can earn it by playing. Therefore, not forcing those who can't into spending more.

As every star citizen player knows, ship novelty will wear out fast. And ships in elite are fake hollow hulls with nothing in them so even more so. Power play? More like "why play". Clearly they are budget strapped. This is just too little too late.

Always remember star Citizen prides itself on its looks which get old after a while by the way, while Elite dangerous not only has the looks but also has the brains as many gameplay features tools and genre concepts actually reliably work in the game and are copied by CIG all the time. Think about this elite dangerous is known for players with many hundreds and thousands of hours into it while star citizen is known for players with hundreds and thousands of hours wasted sitting in front of their screens while the game freezes bugs out or disconnects. Star citizen has more players that attempt to play the game then actually play the game. ED is a whole experience a whole simulation of an entire galaxy, star citizen can be gone through in just a few hours and sittings of gameplay not even close to how great ED is. It takes more brain cells to navigate the star map in elite dangerous then it takes players to figure out how to fucking cube out a reclaimer to stack boxes😮are you kidding me🤦🏻‍♂️

Wrote all that mess , yet has NEVER stepped foot on an ATMOSPHERIC PLANET in ED , no ship interiors, broken multi crew , 2014 graphics , never flew another players ship , has 2 whole land vehicles & has enough loading screens to give Starfield a run for it’s money. We board ships & take them in Star Citizen & salvage them as well. Oh yeah, your so called big brain gameplay doesn’t have this game mechanic. Stick to your fake ships & dated graphics. ED was once a great space simulator, those days are loooooooong gone.

There are 4.7 Thousand people watching SC gameplay streams on Twitch right now / 635 watching Elite. SC earns more per year than Elite earned in its entire life span. SC player count dwarfs ED. ED simulates an entire galaxy - but why after 10 years are 99.9% of all the systems unvisited? ...not un-played in..not even visited a single time.. is it because the distances are so far?.. are there huge groups of players on multi year journeys, as we speak to reach those far away star systems? or is it that most of the player base thats left know theres nothing you can do, except get your name etched in a secondary field 'planet X discovered by godzilla69_420' ...wow ! ive done it !! ive discovered this lifeless barren rock that nobody will probably ever visit again, before the game slumps so low in player count and revenue that they put it into maintenance mode'
