Holy crap this is the first time I've ever seen a pastor speak a about an unjust prison system, race, gender, justice, and so much more, all through the lens of God, in a sermon. And she spoke of this long before it was popular, and that is so telling and powerful. it's especially poignant to find this message now.

So powerful and motivating. I have listened to multiple messages you have given and I do agree with much of what you are saying but the one thing I did notice is you have not mentioned the millions of helpless human beings who also bear the Image of God who have been slaughtered in our country through abortion. Most of these precious victims die because they are inconvenient.

She said the 3/5 compromise made black people less than human. This is a gross misunderstanding of the 3/5 compromise. It was the act they finally said : ok you can count 3/5 of the enslaved..say out of 1,000,000 slaves we'll count 600,000. There fifths of all other persons...meant slaves. Since there are no longer any slaves, this clause has no meaning now.
