Hey there I’ve done exactly just that, it works!! When possible rent a one way local for $160 you get 2 days and ask for some extra miles 99% of the time you’ll get like 100 miles included and only 40 cents a mile after. I did This and actually still do when needed but that pays for itself with your trip cost especially if you stack jobs for a couple of days Good luck and God Bless

Had a quick question. You said that for long range moves you take the total number of hours it will take to do the job and times it by 100 to come up with what you would charge. Well, if I have 1/2 day of loading their stuff, plus 3 days of driving from Idaho to Georgia then another 1/2 day of unloading, how do you calculate that? I figured if I have 8 hours of loading and 8 hours of unloading plus 36 hours of driving that comes to 52 hours X 100 is $5200? Or do you count each day of travel as a 24 hour day? Thanks in advance for any advice or clarification.

I'm looking for a rough estimate of numbers like for a few trucks, workers comp for 10 movers, insurances, licensing, a marketing budget, tools and equipment for a year or how much to expect to pay the first year or month because I'm trying to come up with a business plan or get financing or a general idea or range and just trying to cover everything I would need and the amount it would cost roughly.
