There is a thick film of serenity that lies over Botswana. My heart stopped pumping hard and slowed down taking in it's grandeur😍

That neighborhood is called "Block 10", just 10 minutes' walk to Airport Junction shopping mall. I have a house there that I'm renting out to a guy from San Francisco. The house is located just a street from the guest house where you stayed!

I remember this day it was just after you had some bad experience and it was good to see you at least smiling and standing strong I think the fact that Botswana imports almost everything and mostly by road from mainly RSA I think the taxes, the vat makes prices to be slightly higher than in other neighboring countries.

The cost of importing, insurance, VAT and other taxes for the most part do cause the consumer prices to be fairly high .

Hi Damaris, it called my attention that you said you should be home before dark. Is this a problem in Gaborone?

yah we import a lot things outside but slowly slowly we are reducing the imports. About Botswana whether expensive or not as compare to our neighbours. I think we are much better as i visited South Africa and Namibia. Some stuff are cheaper in South Africa while some are expensive. I heard another guy came here in Botswana from America, vlogging. He said that Botswana is cheaper as compare to America. He also moved around the shops or Malls. He said America is very expensive. In around 2001 we devalued our currency, pula. But that time, American dollar was equal to 1USD = P6.00 and now is P10.31 or P11.00 sometimes. We devalued it twice.

Don't worry hon🤷🏾♀️🤷🏾♀️ I think the room is a tad bit expensive too, but it does the job magnificently.
