And, what is also world famous: The oceanographic museum ( The first worldwide) sitting right on top of the cliff besides the Palace. Was founded by the First Principal in the 1900, who even was one of the co founders of oceanographic science at all.Spectacular!!!

I absolutely loved Monaco GP, I was there at the 2011 and totally agree with the affordability, during the weekend there were market stalls set up at the outside of Antony Noghes corner inside the circuit selling ham and cheese baguettes for 4 euro and I found a volunteer stall selling 500mm Heineken cans for 5 euro! We sat in 2 positions, on the Saturday for qualifying a great little grandstand at Antony Noghes where you see the cars going into the pit entry and also turning into the start finish straight, wonderful position and on Sunday we were in the main grandstand opposite the harbour and we walked the circuit after the race and then joined in on the party. If you go to 1 GP in your life it has to Monaco. Enjoy your weekend Kym.

Hello Kym, I'm a new subscriber and really enjoying all your content! My brother attended the 1991 Monaco race, we bought scalper tickets and sat in the first set of grand stands after the tunnel and chicane, we were getting pelted with rub wevwere seating so close! PRICELESS!!!! Best, however, was an "extremely cool track Marshall," allowing us to stand several meters inside the tunnel during practice. WOW, felt like every molecular of my being wanting to explode!! Looking forward to more of your coverage of the Canadian GP, my home race. What an embarrassment the Montreal Police ruined the race weekend for so many fans!! 🤔😡

Never been to the race, but have fond memories of walking the actual track during off season, and sprinting around that Casino hairpin as fast as the F1 cars take it so I could brag I was as fast as Formula 1 racer! 😆 Also stood on the spot that Senna crashed out while leading by a big margin and reflected on the great man. Bonus was that I did that walk with my best friend, and a random stranger we met who it turned out used to work at McLaren back in the 80's, so we shared some good stories during that afternoon in the Monaco sun...

I reckon you're underestimating the value of the boats in the marina, by a considerable amount. The E Sysman channel did a walk around last weekend & there were at least 10 boats, that exceeded the $100 million mark. My guess would be closer to $4 billion. Great video, nevertheless. It's my favourite GP of the year, not necessarily for the excitement, which is not guaranteed, but for the history & for the strategies which are the best way of gaining position on a track, on which it is notoriously difficult to overtake. The 1st one I was probably able to watch broadcast live, would've been 76 or 77, when TV first came to South Africa 🇿🇦 & my first live GP, at the track would've been the SA GP at Kyalami in 67. Over the years, I had the opportunities to see most of the greats & am forever grateful to my Dad, who was motorsport mad, for giving me those opportunities, particularly in the years 67 to 73, when he was a volunteer timekeeper for Ferrari for the GP's & 9 Hours.

First of all thanks for the fantastic insight into the photography spots around the track, secondly how do you decide which spot you're going to shoot from on race day as I'm guessing you're pretty much confined to that stretch of track once there meaning you probably shoot different locations during the practice sessions and qualifying? Thirdly the bass guitar track at 6min 58sec, do you know who's playing it as it sounds very distinct and in the style of a guy who recently passed away, the bass player from Nu Shooz Gary Fountaine
