Ed, back from Bonneville salt flats, speed week. There's a lot of good stories with older folks who may not be around in a few more years. Car History is disappearing. You should track some of them down and get them on camera.

I don't know if I'm the only one but every time there are some imperial units coming up in the stories I'm going to Google and get them in metric. I assume it may be the other way around if there are metric units appearing for all u Americans. I think it would help the viewing experience a lot if every time there comes a speed or distance or whatever up in the videos u would put in the other unit in the edit. And it also shouldn't be a lot of work. Love the videos. They always put a smile on my face.
@christophermichaels4 жыл бұрын
Koimex - You make a very good point. Having done a lot of traveling overseas I’ve experienced the same issue in reverse. The easiest way to compare imperial to metric when dealing with cars and driving that there are 3 feet in a yard and a yard is roughly the same as a meter; there are roughly one and a half kilometers in a mile; and there are a little more than two pounds to a kilo. So, when we say “yards”, just think meters; when we say “miles” just multiply by 1.5 to get the kilometers; and when we say “pounds” just divide it in half to get kilograms. Those comparisons aren’t exact (2.2lbs to a kilo and 1.62km to a mile) but in the context of the distances and weights used in car stories those comparisons are close enough. Thank you for watching and commenting - Christopher
