Yay some Poppy love! 💞 Poppy is not a bad toon. I played her and I got up to floor 20 with her. All the toons are good in their own way with their own potential but it just really depends on the player who plays that toon. So please don't just ban Poppies but it is reasonable to not want to play with them if there is a Poppy or Boxten that does not talk at all and they just waltz into your game.

Poppy isn’t actually too bad, she’s the same speed as Boxten and just has less extract speed as him (because of the abilities) and she can actually be faster than Boxten, the only reason poppy has the stereotype of dying early is because noobs are the only ones who use her, unlike Boxten who has an ability that pro’s can use. There are worse toons than poppy, like for example Shrimpo, Razz and Dazz (not really tbh since they both have the same stats, I think it’s just that Razz and Dazz are slower because they were fast right before so it just seems way slower in comparison. But since they change each floor it’s hard to focus on just one thing, so for example you could just go full speed trinkets as Goob or full extract as Rodger but with Razz and Dazz it’s better to have one speed and one extract.) and Scraps are all examples of toons how are worse than Poppy. Poppy also has more speed than Vee and Rodger whilst having more extract speed than every single distractor. Additionally, poppy is good for solo runs since she doesn’t focus on one specific thing so she can run, won’t run outta stam as quick as others and can distract decently fast whilst actually having an ability that works while solo unlike Boxten. Poppy herself isn’t actually a bad toon, it’s just that she gets less useful once you unlock more toons and it’s only the players themselves who are bad. Look at part one for example, you were left on one heart by the time you reached floor 4 (which is actually pretty good for some of the Poppy’s I’ve seen) but it was entirely someone else’s fault, not your toons fault, just like how it’s the players fault when they die on floor one, not the toons fault (unless it’s Shrimpo) Wow you really hated Shrimpo for wanting to complete a machine for mastery in that second round.

I think Poppy in general isnt a bad character, while she may not contribute much atp shes better than scraps LOL (as a scraps main and former poppy main) But since shes a starter a lot of people generally dont like her cause starters use her well, wrong. When I was team creating in the discord I allow one poppy as long as they have veemote and our pebs left cause “im not playing with a poppy”

Me as a poppy got farthest to floor 8 and collected in about a day or some extra hours 800 smth Ichor 🤧 I think i *was* a pretty good😀 player and helped alot I even made more friends! ^_^ We were very silly and cared when someone died, they were even sad when i died 😭 But now i got tisha :3
