Great comparison video. Since I've already had the v2 goggles for over a year now, I just bought the Avata and FPV controller separately (still waiting for the controller to be delivered...) I do have the same TrueRC antennas you have, so I'm confident I won't have issues... Oh, I'm in the US by the way, so at least I'll be in FCC...

Brilliant video, very informative, fantastic range from that little Avata. Unfortunately here in the UK the CE version lacks that sort of signal strength, range and video transmission is severely restricted. I've added your channel, hopefully you'll connect with another drone pilot?👍

Thank a lot Tom👌 ill have the most comprehensive test coming today or tomorrow. Also including the DJI FPV since it’s $500 cheaper than the pro-view combo and $250 cheaper than the fly-smart combo.

@@robinhannevig Genuinely looking forward to that! I think I'd still rather go with the Avata because of the bumpers, longer flight time and better video. Just this morning I've ordered the FPV Controller 2 as it is now available again and I want to start with Simulator training. I wanted to go with Liftoff. Do you know it, is it any good? Or any other recommendations?

It doesn’t have longer flight time than the DJI FPV tho😅 that has 20 or 21 min. But ill include that maybe too 😃

Just got the Avata in fcc mode but HD signal I have 5 bars but the video Mbps are only on 2 to 6mbps? The video feed in the v2 goggles are great with no break up, only flew 1000ft away to test. Anyone else notice this?

Hello tested today avata whit new googles i have the old v2 but never tested in dji drones..differences in therm of quality Image 2/v2? On dji ?

Interesting - though as you say, a penetration test is much more important for fpv.
