Respect for being able to actually hit the ball. I guess golf must be a difficult sport when you are that massive, as I could imagine it being more difficult to rotate in the swing.
@soulessshadow53564 жыл бұрын
Absolutely is. With golf, hip mobility and torsion speed is huge, but in Strongman it's all about explosive verticle speed, strength, and short-range endurance. When you're built like a brick shit house so to speak, it raises the difficulty a lot

Yeah, for an athlete of sorts he didn't have the most athletic swing I've ever seen haha......Definitely the angriest though lol
@Scottsdaleofficesteve4 жыл бұрын
Yup, in golf, kinda like being a baseball pitcher or cricket bowler, its all about rotational speed essentially. Hes too dense and lacks the flexibility to get proper rotation

@@28russ You try being graceful when your biceps are the size of bowling balls.
@ryanross69734 жыл бұрын
You don't need the "when you're that massive." Golf is just an incredibly difficult sport. It's not about raw strength, it's all rotation. One of the top Long Drive winners is Jamie Sadlowski, who is 6 foot something and 170 pounds. Even if you get all of the twisting down, you still need to make good contact, or all the power is wasted.

The problem Eddie had with Thor's lift was that it wasn't in a tournament setting. In tournaments, you have to do multiple lifts in a row with a very minimal break, and despite all that Eddie still managed to deadlift 500kg. Thor likely warmed up, got set, did the one lift, then walked off. There is no way that Thor could be so much stronger than Eddie that a lift that made the latter almost pass out could be done so easily if the same conditions were met.
