When Jason kills Vaas you feel badass because you have avenged your brother. But now that there’s a DLC from Vaas’ point of view, you can clearly see that Jason is completely gone and he’s as insane as someone can get.
@Ch33seandWh1ne2 жыл бұрын
Those DLCs put so much in perspective for me.
@nickdouglas7362 жыл бұрын
I never felt badass, just a slight statisfaction - like at that point Jason was just a mass murdering drug fuelled maniac and l never understood how people thought he was the hero. Like it's kind of the point of the whole plot that there are no heroes.
@brycealthoff80922 жыл бұрын
I can understand Jason wanting to go after Vaas since he’s the one who killed his brother. It’s when he goes after Hoyt when you know he’s gone. Now he’s just out for blood and he doesn’t care who’s.
@Floridamangaming7292 жыл бұрын
Nah sorry but vaas was also a asshole. i wouldn't really give a damn about his sob story. I only care about what he has become in the present. you dont think i have some sad back story? He obviously doesn't care either.
@Floridamangaming7292 жыл бұрын
@@brycealthoff8092 you mean vaas's boss? Even if jason was "out for blood" its not like he's killing innocents. i understand were people are coming from but at the end of the day jason isnt crazy. i think alot of people would do what jason did.

I liked when he mentioned putting fear and anger on a pedestal, I do think alot of today's problems are caused by people living in fear and anger. Back when superheroes like Batman were new he was interesting because that dark, gruff, violent nature made him unique. But now we live in an era where people seem to forget that fiction is just fiction and will take life lessons from movies, so more people are disconnected with themselves and reality itself than ever before.
@Pink.andahalf2 жыл бұрын
For the first 50 years of comics being published people were trying to censor them because they were worried kids would learn life lessons from them. And for a while they actually did censor them.

@@Pink.andahalf i always thought that if you learned life lesson from.... Well, whatever media: manga, anime, cartoons, comics, etc. then theres something genuinely wrong with you and/or the environment you grew up in

@@sebastiansuazo2734 don't many authors try to teach the reader a lesson through their work? It's not weird to learn something from fiction. Even if an author isn't trying to teach you anything, stories always can be boiled down to a lesson.
@1ProAssassin2 жыл бұрын
@@sebastiansuazo2734 The irony there is that for most of human history knowledge was passed on through stories. Even for most of mathematic's history it was linked to geometry with real world applications, which in turn got turned into weird riddles, stories and poems. Similarly with different branches of science. Now that I think about it there are a lot of math and science questions that are "story-based".

I was afraid when I saw them laughing a lot at the jokes and seemingly looked pass the message of the video...til the end. Kira might not have gotten it, but I am glad Kit seems to have understood it. The example Kit gave - "Papers Please" is a good example indeed about self-reflection during and after video game sessions. Self-reflecting. That's something I think one of the few things good games could bring to a person after some fun time - entertaining the player and also aiding said player's mental growth.

My suggestion is to check out Hunt Showdown trailers. The really underrated gem of a game that is getting its own Tv-show in the future just like The Witcher. The game has a great atmosphere and unique setting that hasn't been explored in the video game and cinema industry. 1)"Steam trailer" - gives you an idea of what the game is like 2)"There came darkness" - is about story and lore. 3)Varios Event trailers have their own little stories. 4)"Dark sight" - is just a masterpiece! 5) There are also boss trailers and hunter trailers that you can additionally check out Fun fact: all trailers have amazing music composed and sung by a band that is created by the regular developers of the game itself. Their songs are so good that they made up a band in-game called "Port Sulphur Band" and they post songs on Spotify from time to time.

DJ is another one of those critique/analysis KZbinr's who hold their viewpoint's & standpoint's to a high-pedestal and pinpointing that against anything that apparently trifles or compromises someone such as DJ's biased inconvenienced perspective/higher set of perceived standards that gets objectified in truth to what it should & shouldn't be as; without taking the consideration of taking an outlook onto different perspectives with own independent critical/analytical thinking based on that very outlook that EVERY Human being or anyone that critiques, criticises, analyses one another 'should & try' to have & keep... Uncharted doesn't have the textbook concept that is 'ludonarrative dissonance' - since every Uncharted game plays an allegorical and paradoxical factor of Nathan undertaking a dogmatic stance of whether fortune or glory is worth it & decides that it really isn't since the 1st game while revelling in what he's shaped into as a man who represents the personification & symbolic allegorical & paradoxical factors that goes into being a 'Human' - the violence of it all is supposed to be taken 'lightly' as much as its supposed to be taken the opposite of 'lightly'.
