The thing about shooting the cow is very much real. When I was coming back from Australia I was in Cambodia for a bit, met some wee Irish guys who were going to the shooting place. Think you could shoot the cow with an rpg for 200 quid odds. I met them later for the Celtic game and all 4 of them were traumatised but only 1 of them shot it. Great day out for a sociopath!

I’ve been to Cambodia six times. I have only had food poisoning twice. Not bad. I’ll still take the street food any day. Passing on the palace tour was a mistake. A lot of history to learn and beautiful things to see.

Yeah a common scam where they'll intercept you outside or on your way somewhere like that palace you want to visit, tell you it's closed and then try and rip you off with some alternative...... the unexpected twist being the option to bazooka a cow!? I guess the scam works just as well when the place is actually genuinely closed too 😂

1:36 - Cambodia's football kit is currently made by Varaman. It was last made by Adidas in 2004. That kit (and logo) most closely resembles a "concept" kit made by Libero which is available online, but doesn't have "Cambodia" across the front and has red piping.

As someone who has traveled non stop for many years. I bet the palace was actually open. Lots of people will say major attractions are closed to sell you other tours. Happened to me in Vietnam, Thailand and Philippines.

If you don't want food poisoning...... Don't eat salads, or western food in SEA lol. It's far safer to eat all the local rice/fried noodles!!!!

The water park was an incredible price compared to Europe! You really shouldn’t wear contacts though as there is a water bug that can cause blindness. My friend just washed his hands in a hotel and touched the lens with wet hands and was very lucky not to lose his eyesight

I travelled throughout SE Asia for 6 months and didn't have food poisoning once. God knows how you have had it three times! Just avoid tap water, make sure anything you eat is piping hot, and never eat seafood when not on the coast! To be honest you need to stop with the "western" food. Eat local and you will have less chance of food issues.
