Omg I love ToA! It can be hilarious and heartwarming and deep, which honestly not a lot of books can do. I love the character growth of Apollo, and everyone else too. Especially Meg, learning to trust and care about people again. It's just so great

It's my 2nd favorite of the Riordan series. (Heroes of Olympus beats it by a little.) Apollo is so great. His egomaniacal outlook is hilarious throughout the books, but it's amazing to watch him learn to not be a horrible person. Zeus could probably use this happening to him. Or really, any of the gods. (excluding hestia.)

I especially love the second verse. I just feel it correlates so well with Apollo's extreme sorrow about Daphne, Hyacinthus, Jason, Don, Dakota, and all the other deaths he caused, inadvertently or no.

@@Weirdo24StudioProductions I am a very emotional person and yet, I love Rick for this series. I like sad books. I mean, the books were funny and contained lot's of things that kept me interested, but the sad parts were 50-50 for me. I hated the fact the my heart exploded but I loved how they contributed to the story. the minor characters for me, didn't have as much build up as Jason. I still find it hard to beleive that he's dead. I finished about 2 hours ago and all I can think about is the prophecy Rachel said the Apollo didn't hear. I'm a curious person lol. I don't hate Rick for any of his writing. Sure again he exploded my heart and because of his writing I feel deeply connected with his writing, but I could never hate the man that is able to make me smile even when life is crazy. Many times I notice i'm smiling and laughing because of the Riordanverse. Before I read it, I didn't find myself laughing as much. And now, cheesy as it may be, I feel myself constantly laughing and cheerful despite the dark cloud it sometimes produces. Sorry I just wrote the equivalent to a miny paragraph 😅
