This isn't boxing, and though increased strength is helpful, so is decreased weight. He is an experienced ex champ, so if you're looking for inequality here you could reasonably argue she is out-ranked.

Some clips were prob edited in (during a practise run) during the timed run to make it better footage/viewing for us, to show the tricks on jumps you may not see in POV. Doubt they were doing tricks on jumps during a timed run..👍

Guys. In clips like this you take some practice runs, which are filmed, then you take the timed run. Maybe couple more takes on jumps etc. Then you mix them up. They don't have 37 cameras and cameramen for the whole course. That is the secret of Neil's gloves. Now for the result, this shows that Neil is still fast as hell.

Should've had a 3rd more "average" skilled rider do the run too so we could actually get a comparison of how fast they are. When I read the title of the video I thought that's what it was going to be. Cool video, but that would have been great to add.

Men's and Women's DH are different pairs of shoes. Just watch the time differences in one of the races. Mostly the winning women's time doesn't even crack the top twenty men's. It's an apples to oranges comparison.

tbf, instead of watching a full race run in pov, i think they edited in better clips of features (during practise run) and to emphasise the skills you can't see in pov with Martyns commentary. just to make it look better for us. 👍

Neils faster than a pro 7x world champion...woman but yet he made it to top ten in mens world dh a couple of times. I mean that's incredible and hes been retired from racing for 11yrs. So idk, call me sexist but I think us guys may have it a little harder (in dh racing at pro level) hahaha

Damn. Neil is an absolute monster. When he shredded everything, he reminded me the DH run of Sam Hill against Steve Peat. Even steep grades and scary gaps is not enough to stop them. I wont be much surprised if i see them hover around everything

Now. Was there an actual race? Because there is POV footage of them riding, but in the 3rd person shots, they have no gopros on them. Just filmed multiple times to get better shots, while the POV was the actual race run? (I hope)

Great content and awesome riding from both but honest feedback... episodes like this could be more serious. No slo-mo in replays in a timed run, just watch the riding and add in an actual comment which sections were actually good and which weren't. I think Ben Cathro got this format pretty perfectly. This reminds me a bit of Top Gear-style journalism, too much about the visuals and not enough about the actual subject
