You can't beat Martin? Keep watching chess videos and learning the basic principles of chess and basic openings, like e4, developing the knights, pinning/checking with the kingside bishop, and you'll beat him soon. I hadn't beaten him or anyone until this year and now I'm able to beat bots rated about 1200, at least. And that's without actively practicing or studying, just playing and watching here and there.
