Back with another Red Dead Redemption 2 Video! I wanted to see how quickly I could grow Arthur's beard from a level 1 length, to a full level 10 length. This challenge was pretty interesting.

@@red_ryn_9917you shoot the shopkeeper at the fence and go outside and there should be a prompt to *skip until morning* sometimes he’ll respawn but you just have to kill him again. The reason it only works in van horn is because the law doesn’t chase you when you kill the shopkeeper.

This game is based on realism, and in real life hair follicles have lifespans so the majority of people physically can't grow a beard to the floor. Someone can grow out their beard for 5 years and it will never grow past a certain length because when the hair reaches that final length, it falls off.

you could redo this one, in chapter 6 (because beard levels 7 and up take a lot of time before that), with kit or legend of the east satchel so you can carry more tonic and with the van horn fence. you can kill the fence in van horn and you wont get wanted, when you exit the store you cam wait until morning over and over again

Dude, nice video but your audio has a problem. Your voice frequently distorts through the right channel. I'd suggest you lower down the input level and bring up the gain in post or use a compressor if you'd like to go higher. Edit: Later in the video when you start to talk quieter, the clipping stops. I'm kind of sure now that the input gain on your mic is turned up way too high.

In the world there are beer and whiskey crates. You can find one in the outskirts of saint denis behind a small farmhouse. Just keep drinking until you pass out. When you wake up, the fat increases

I think if you had taken the stagecoach from one side of the map to the other side, more time would have gone for arthur, and also sleep again when you get back to a hotel. sure it would cost more, but i think you'd be able to get his beard to lvl 10 faster.

A great technique I've come across is utilizing some game mechanics that have gone unchecked. 1. Buy up all of the tonics you can store, you don't need to stack them up beyond three with each drink. 2. Head to Van Horn Trading Post and go to the Fence. 3. Shoot the Fence clerk and leave out the back door. 4. Don't run away, cut back to the door and the prompt "Wait until morning" should appear. Hold the button. 5. Once a new day has come, view the shop again. Sometimes the clerk respawns and sometimes he doesn't but if he has, repeat the process. 6. But once he does not, and the shop is off limits, the "wait until morning" prompt should still show up. Hold the button. 7. Now the game will allow you to stick around and keep pressing the button, advancing the passage of time without sleeping. If the clerk reappears, just repeat the process. 8. Every three or four days of time passing, your tonic will wear off so just drink a few more. 9. Keep going until you reach the max growth which may take twenty or so minutes, or nearly fifty in-game days, and you will have the glorious, and hilarious, level ten beard. Fun fact: when you do this, you might even unlock special dialogue depending on where you are in the game. As Arthur, campers will comment on where you've been, John will talk to his horse "it's just me, friend.", And Abigail will be relieved to see you after such a long time.
