Sharrow props and a foiling system similar to that on the Insetta 35ifc or the Aquila 36. Might add 4 or 5 knots to both cruise and top end, along with being slightly less thirsty.

If you REALLY gotta go offshore fishing, no matter the conditions, the Freeman is THE choice. If you fish only day runs, the Freeman is THE choice. If you want to go to the Bahamas or keys for a few days you'll need a hotel room. 47 feet of boat and no berth. Hmmmm. We all get it but sometimes i want to sleep ON MY boat. Quad 400hp v10 motors consume 500 l/h at WOT and the Freeman 47 has a 3750l fuel tank so 7.5 hours at WOT and you would have traveled 900km. Looking at those numbers, that seems like an absurdly long time that the boat can run at WOT before running out of fuel.
