How Fast is Eli Tomac REALLY Going?

The gate drops on the 2023 Supercross season in just two days, and we are just as excited to see how all of the players stack up against each other as everyone else. Having seen defending Supercross Champion Eli Tomac in action only a few days ago aboard his new 2023 Monster Energy/Star Racing/Yamaha, we're especially excited to see how he does at the A1 season opener, where he has traditionally played it safe. @@garyhatstat8449 Yamaha was the best move he made. I'm 57 years old. Although my first introduction to riding was the beast of all beasts the Honda 2 stroke cr500, I rode a Yamaha for over 25 years. I love it when the other riders say they can hear Eli coming up on them. I love his riding style. I think he can ride just about any bike. He is a GOAT in my eyes. He's gonna smoke me for sure. He's one of the greatest guys in the industry.

There aren’t too many people that can ride the pace needed to win for as long as he’s been doing it. One of the most professional racers ever .Obviously the record book speaks for itself. On another note ,I just came to the realization that I (we) are probably never going to get to see a full season with Tomac and Herlings battling. That’s a bummer. Maybe there’s a reason that never came to fruition.

KR is always fastest for first quarter of the race. Its Tomacs endurance, strength and mid to end racecraft that gets the overall job done more frequently than KR.

bike certainly looks alot stiffer this year. idk if that will gel with eli or not, it looked like he was running the suspension a little softer last year when he dominated. Check out how it looked in the whoops last year compared to this video, or how much compression he had with a g out or heavy seat bounce last season.

i agree that last season eli looked to be on a softer set up than normal, at least compared to others. Stiffer bike should hold up better in the whoops, i think the ones on that track are a poor example though.
