Man this is impressive on and off the road. They have come a long way since their very first installment which was still pretty awesome. This was true to its speed claim on the box which has always be a complaint of mine with many rc car makers. Now if they could only scale their cars correctly! LoL! Many people won’t buy this just for that reason alone…. Great video and well done Dave!

for the price there is a lot of competition. When i choose an rc from a non main brand price is the priority. Why would i pay almost the same as an arma/hpi and so on for a chinese brand that doesnt garantee parts for at least 5 years?!

@@Hungrybird474 Yep got it last Saturday I got the Carbon version it’s been raining a lot & had to work so I’ve only had it out a few times so I need to get it the right area to really test it. I also got the 17mm wheel axle mounts but they haven’t shipped yet.I’m curious because I see a picture of a Terminator with the 17mm upgrade & Rlaarlo brand wheels on it but I don’t see any wheels on there site that say 17mm. When I did drive it I think it would definitely benefit from a wider stance not necessarily bigger tires but wider would make it more stable when turning etc.

I just received mine and drove it once then on the second drive the power button and ESC are blinking red and it won't connect with the remote. Any ideas on what is causing this and how to fix it? Great video btw!

Looks like a standard 1/12 servo to me, like those JX 1811mg servos for example

I wish they’d make an actual 1/10 scale RC. These are clearly the “Chinese “ 1/10 scale which is like 1/11.5 scale.. either way it’s a good looking truck, and looks robust

Yeah they are calling this model a mini 1/10 but would have been good if it were an actual 1/10 size than a 1/11th. But it's still a pretty capable and durable basher, that video coming soon! Thanks for stopping by Thad

Little disappointed in how small this truck is, Matt Simm ran the carbon version with the larger motor + high speed pinion fitted & only got 68kph. bit down on the claimed 80kph though.

@@LassoKid7777 If that's to me. Matt got 48kph on 2s, 68kph on 3s & 94kph on 4s ( 120a esc fitted for 4s run ). These were all on the larger high speed pinion.

@@Sam-nz2zs I don't think anyone would use this 120a 4s set up for normal long term off road running, I think Matt done this to see what the truck was capable of for a speed run. Its plenty fast enough on 3s for intended off road driving, you could even leave the upgraded 120a esc in on 3s & gear up a bit more than the supplied 27t pinion. 68-70kph is more than a truck of this size running off road can realistically cope with anyway. Otherwise as we all know you just simply constantly destroy the car.

Hi Marco the mini cam I had on the truck is called the Firefly mini, but they have been discontinued for years now. A very similar camera I recommend is the SQ12, they should be still available online on eBay, aliexpress etc.
