What sound system you rocking? Looks like a fusion Apollo with 2 fusion 8” down low? And other speakers, subs or amps ?

Yeah it’s the top of the line Apollo with 4 fusion 6.5” around the console and a 600w fusion amp

@@tomvancil8213 yeah produces amazing sound all the way to max volume. I did quite a bit of upgrades from a standard sport 520

Hi Ivan. I’ve got the same boat on order. It looked like the boat started to roll left and right up at 68 km. Does that happen at higher speeds??

Hey Blake did you get the sport 520? Which engine did you pair it with? Reason for this is that the conditions that evening were not that good. Side wind and waves were making it roll like that. I was able to do 83 kmh one day but that day there was no wind or waves. It was like a skating rink. Also, depending on the wind direction, the bimni top can almost become like a sail and will catch wind. That’s why I took it off in the video. Let me know if you need any other info

@@drivingwithivan Hi Ivan. I got the sport 520, Radar arch not available. Yamaha 115 but not SHO. I’m in south Florida can’t wait. How well does it hold up in bad chop??

@@blakekassel7002 I wish I was in south Florida lol I’m still waiting for boating season to start here in Toronto. I find it handles amazing in bad chop. It’s not the most comfortable ride but it will take waves like no other boat in this size. One day last summer I was coming back from Niagara on the lake which is right on the border with US and I got stuck in a pretty bad storm. The clouds came down and the waves were 4-5 feet high but this highfield 520 took me back to Toronto with no issues. Just a sore but :)

@@blakekassel7002 chop was pretty bad that day and I couldn’t get it to good speed to cut the waves. The boat is really light so if you don’t have good speed the waves can toss you around. Btw I would recommend getting a wedge kit and a hydrofoil

Thank you for your candor. We’re a generation apart in music but the boat is still pretty amazing. Any thoughts on it being a fun “day boat” on British Columbia’s ocean waters?

@@jocknicklaus6228 absolutely.. it will handle the ocean like nothing else. I’d maybe go for a slight bigger one, ie: patrol 600 because you will get so much more of a boat for your family and still enjoy a boat that cost second to nothing in maintenance, you can tow it with a car and load it unloaded it in seconds by yourself. The performance is just amazing. I wish I was in BC I’d be in water every day exploring. Lake Ontario is pretty boring around Toronto
