Watched your Monsters & Minions video and went and purchased the expansion. It didn't disappoint; it really improved the game no end! Having watched this one - I'm more on the fence and will perhaps wait to be tested by a sale price at somepoint in the future! Great video's though so thanks for taking the time to run through them - very much appreciated.

You bet! M and M works wonders.

Are some of the components that are included with Fiends & Familiars similar to those found in Monsters & Minions or are they identical? If I have Monsters & Minions, do I need Fiends & Familiars? Is the extra content worth the $50.00 price tag?

Nothing is duplicated but there is some Monsters and Minions additional content in there. If you are happy with M and M then it's not essential.

Im curious with your take on the location, obstacle cards etc, iv heard people play with these face up rather than face down so that its fairer for everyone come end game, i wander what your thoughts are on this??
@TheBrokenMeeple3 жыл бұрын
Well that completely removes the point of killing the minions and trophies. Yes you can get some xp cubes but that's not worth the risk and ignoring the market.

@@TheBrokenMeeple Yeah That was my thought as well, basically made the minions redundant, apparently its a variant that seems to be popular with some, for me i like fighting the minions to discovers the weakness of the boss so to speak

@@zakkchambers263 Yeah I mean that's the thematic part of it. You attack the minions to find out intel on the boss. And in all DnD games you fight the small minions before you attack the main baddie and you wouldn't just automatically know what it's capable of in advance. Yeah I would outright refuse that variant.
